Two Billion Served: DataVisor Protects More Than Two Billion Global Users

August 28, 2017

DataVisor now protects more than two billion user accounts around the world. It feels like just yesterday we announced the one billion mark, and that’s because it was not very long ago at all. As a result of our continued customer momentum from financial services, social, e-commerce and gaming clients around the globe, this incredible milestone comes less than a year after crossing the one billion user mark.

How do you protect two billion users? Regardless of how effective your technology is, you need to be able to scale.

One of the major issues with many online fraud prevention strategies is the inability to scale to support today’s billion user era, and that is one of the main pain points we wanted to overcome developing our big data user analytics technology. As more companies around the globe look to maintain growth and momentum without sacrificing the security of their users, choosing a partner who can scale with your growth should be an integral part of your fraud protection strategy.

Also, while protecting two billion users is exciting as a company milestone alone, it also strengthens our Global Intelligence Network. The Global Intelligence Network provides insights that boost our detection effectiveness and helps us protect our clients better. It also serves as the foundation for our threat research, such as the DataVisor Online Fraud Report we released in March and App Install Advertising Fraud Report released last week.

DataVisor has protected over 2B users, analyzed over 639B events and detected over 143M users worldwide.

Lastly, we are grateful to all of our clients who trust in our team and technology to help them maintain the trust and safety of their online services. As fraudsters become more sophisticated, protecting users becomes more of a challenge, but it’s a challenge we are ready to face. It’s what drives our company and all that we do, and have done so more than two billion times.
