DataVisor Places in WSJ Top 25 Tech Cos. to Watch 2018

August 7, 2018

DataVisor recently received the WSJ Top 25 Tech Companies award, ranking #3 in the Artificial Intelligence category, and #16 overall.

The Wall Street Journal recognized DataVisor for its industry-leading fraud and abuse detection platform, which protects more than 4 billion users world-wide. Since its founding in 2013, DataVisor has processed more than 800 billion user events and detected over 220M malicious accounts for customers like Pinterest, Yelp, Cheetah Mobile, Dianping, and more.

Founded by former Microsoft Research colleagues Yinglian Xie and Fang Yu,  DataVisor’s Unsupervised Machine Learning engine uses patented AI and big data technologies to detect the hidden connections between malicious accounts. This allows the engine to detect malicious accounts without any training labels and often before damage is done.

The Journal surveyed company executives and technology purchasing decision makers, along with readers of the Journal and attendees of WSJ technology conferences to identify candidates for the award.
